Roles & Responsibilities

· Coordinate with principals, sales, project team and clients to produce valued engineering design & construction documents.

· Strong knowledge of building/Façade systems

· Plan concept design by studying construction specifications and material details.

· Prepare 2D & 3D Detail Drawings with Autocad.

· Well organize design drawing sets.

· Obtain approvals from clients with concept drawings.

· Preparation of Shop, Construction and As-built drawings.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering related to construction sector.

· Well versed with Autodesk Autocad software.

· Good verbal, written and graphic communication skills.

· Able to communicate well in English.

Candidates with strong tendering and commercial experience may be considered for either Senior Quantity Surveyor or Tender Manager positions based on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for building and construction projects

• Review tender drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and contract documents

• Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and pricing evaluations

• Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers

• Prepare tender costing sheets, commercial proposals, and cost build-ups

• Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise clarification queries when required

• Coordinate with internal teams including design, planning, procurement, project, and M&E departments

• Review tender requirements, contractual conditions, and commercial risks

• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises

• Monitor tender schedules and ensure timely submission of proposals

• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on tender matters

• Attend tender interviews, negotiations, and post-tender clarifications when required

• Support tender handover and project transition upon award
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Tendering, or Pre-Contract functions

• Experience with main contractors will be highly preferred

• Candidates with exposure to industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, mixed-use, or building construction projects are welcome to apply

Job Description

• Prepare and assist shop drawing, detail drawing and as-built drawing using CAD programs.
• Create 3D Concepts and Perspectives, as well as Renderings.
• Prepare drawing requests to meet requirements.
• Assist in tender showrounds and take off quantities/measurements.
• Assist in attending site meetings and project coordination.
• Assist in project administration such as document management and progress tracking.
• Assist to determine quality, cost and quantity of required materials for materials list.

• Carry out quantity take-offs for structural and architectural works, and prepare detailed cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Review and verify the quantity take-offs prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Interpret tender documents (including drawings, specifications, and contracts) to fully understand the project scope.
• Identify and report any discrepancies in tender drawings and specifications and raise clarification queries promptly.
• Provide accurate cost inputs and supporting data according to tender submission requirements.
• Ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.
• Lead, coach, and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors to ensure knowledge sharing, professional growth, and alignment with company standards.
• Assign tasks and monitor the progress of the team.
• Coordinate internally to ensure tender submissions are complete.
• Create and maintain tender documentation, databases, and cost libraries for accurate and efficient future reference.
• Prepare full handover documentation for project teams after award to ensure a smooth transition from tender to project execution.
• Liaise with consultants and internal project teams to clarify tender requirements and resolve technical or contractual issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an AI-powered conversational bot capable of conducting personalised, text-based interviews for data collection
