• Oversee and manage construction activities including Dwall construction, deep excavation, C&C tunnels, drainage systems, pavement construction, taxiways, and runways to ensure project milestones are met
• Ensure all construction work complies with Singapore standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular inspections to verify quality control and adherence to project specifications, identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and maintain smooth project progress

Required competencies and certifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise major building construction works, including services laying and installation of lighting and control systems, to ensure project objectives are met
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of airfield lighting systems, control rooms, server rooms, battery/genset rooms, M&E equipment, switch rooms, fire protection, and CCTV/security systems to maintain operational integrity

• Apply paint, coating, and finishing to walls, ceilings, metal, and structures
• Carry out painting works at construction sites, including high-rise buildings

• Maintain tools, equipment, and cleanliness of work area
• Up to date to current painting trend like Limewash, Industrial painting etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant painting experience in construction industry
• Able to work at height

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling cracks or holes in walls and ceilings using putty or plaster to ensure smooth painting surfaces
• Apply paint, varnishes, sealants, and finishes using rollers, brushes, or spray guns to deliver high-quality coatings
• Follow workplace safety rules and consistently use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment
• Protect adjacent surfaces from paint splatters by covering them and clean work areas thoroughly after painting tasks
• Maintain painting tools and equipment by properly handling, cleaning, and storing them to ensure readiness and longevity
• Erect scaffolding or operate lifting equipment such as boom lifts to safely access elevated painting areas
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors for extended periods, demonstrating physical fitness and endurance
