Responsibilities

The Site Engineer (Building) is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.

The Role

As a Property Business Development Agent for ISLURP, your job is to find us retail or semi-retail space where we can place a fresh juice vending machine. 

The machine has a small footprint (approximately 0.5 to 1 square metre) and requires a standard power socket. You will identify prospective sites, approach landlords or shop owners, negotiate basic rental or licence terms, and we will sign the final agreement with the Landlord.

There is no cap on what you can earn — the more locations you sign, the more you make.

What You Will Do

• Scout and identify high-footfall, high-visibility spaces across Singapore suitable for a compact vending machine

• Approach landlords, shop owners, property managers, town councils, and other relevant parties to discuss short-term space rental or licence arrangements

• Present ISLURP's concept and commercial proposition to prospective landlords in a clear and compelling manner

• Negotiate basic terms (monthly rent, space dimensions, power access) and coordinate lease paperwork with the ISLURP team

• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective sites and provide regular progress updates

2. Oversee construction quality, safety compliance and site operations in accordance with Singapore BCA and WSH regulations.
3. Coordinate with main contractors, consultants and suppliers to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project progress.
4. Review construction drawings, prepare method statements, daily reports and project documentation.
5. Lead and manage the site team to maintain productivity, safety standards and work discipline.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Supervision or related building/construction discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction site management or supervision.
3. Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications.
4. Familiar with construction safety requirements and quality control procedures.
5. Good leadership, communication and coordination skills.
6. Physically fit to work on construction site and able to work on shift when required.
