• Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This role focuses on managing project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting the project team in ensuring cost efficiency and smooth financial administration for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects and tender submissions.
• Review and interpret C&S, Architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Prepare contract documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Assess payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors, and monitor the progress of main and sub-contract works.
• Track project progress and handle the measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of both civil and architectural works is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in building, HDB, or condominium projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage.

• Site Supervision:Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure progress matches project schedules.
  Monitor subcontractor work and ensure quality compliance.
  
• Technical and Design Implementation:Interpret and implement construction drawings and plans.
  Assist with layout, leveling, and surveying activities on-site.
  
• Project Coordination:Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
  Ensure materials and resources are available for smooth execution.
  
• Quality Assurance:Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure work meets design and safety specifications.
  Address technical issues and resolve problems promptly.
  
• Health and Safety Compliance:Enforce site safety regulations and report hazards or risks.

• To perform engineer’s role on method statement, implement cost & time efficiency on operation
• To checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

• To carry out daily site supervision, coordination and quality assurance of all trades implementation on site
• To work closely with sub-contractors on project progress and ensure timely work arrangements
• To scheduling materials and equipment purchases and deliveries
• To liaise with consultant and carry out site inspection
• Attend all site's meeting on work progression
• To prepare monthly meeting progression report
