d. Statutory Approvals – Assist in the preparation and submission of M&E drawings/documents to relevant authorities for approvals, including Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan (BP), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP), and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC).

e. Documentation and Communication – Maintain proper records of design changes, site instructions (CVIs/RFIs/RFAs), and correspondences. Attend technical and design coordination meetings (internal and external), report outcomes, and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.

f. Material and Sample Coordination – Support the construction team in preparing and obtaining approval for M&E materials and samples to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Requirements

• Coordination of Structural Drawings: Review structural design drawings and documents submitted by the consultant for constructability, compliance with project specifications and potential clashes with other disciplines. Responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of FW/CBP drawings and sub cons structural shop drawings align with project schedule and construction activities.
• Liaison with Consultants and Subcontractors: Working closely with structural consultants/architectural/M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve structural/technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.
• Statutory Approvals: Assisting in the preparation and submission of structural drawings/ documents to relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan (BP), Structural Plan (ST), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC). Keep track of the status of submissions and liaise with authorities to expedite the approval process.
• Technical Support and Problem Solving: Provide technical support to the site team on structural-related matters, interpreting design drawings and resolving site queries. Liaise with the structural consultant to address site issues and implement design changes or clarifications as needed.
• Documentation and Communication: Maintaining proper documentation of design changes, site instructions (CVIs/RFIs/SDAs) and correspondences. Attending technical meetings and Internal / External design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordination/ VR Walkthrough: Familiar with Revit/Naviswork/Enscape to coordinate structural and consultant drawings, identify clashes and ensure consistency in construction documents.
• As-Built BIM Model/Drawings: Compiling and handing over structural as-built BIM Model/drawings upon project completion.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer, Project Engineer or Structural Coordinator on Design & Build condominium projects for A1 main contractors. Candidates with C&S consultant firm experience and design background will be preferred.
• Perform structural analysis and simulations using software such as ACAD, Revit, STAAD. Pro, or similar tools.
• Familiar with local authorities (URA/BCA/NEA/PUB/SCDF/LTA/Nparks) requirements.
• Ability builds up good relationships with consultants, work independently and as part of a team.

• Managing the overall design process for civil and infrastructure projects from design development to construction stage.

• Coordinate and interface with various stakeholders including civil, structural, geotechnical, and M&E consultants, as well as LTA, authorities, and contractors.

• Review and evaluate technical submissions, design drawings, and reports to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and design intent.

• Support in managing the design schedule to ensure timely delivery of all design packages according to project milestones.

• Participate in design and technical meetings, identifying and resolving design discrepancies and constructability issues.

• Ensure authority submissions are prepared accurately and submitted on time; follow through until approvals are obtained.

• Implement and monitor design quality assurance/control systems and ensure that all designs meet relevant safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.

• Assist in the evaluation of design changes, variation proposals, and value engineering opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore

• Min 12 years of engineering experience and at least 8 years of experience in the design of civil and infrastructure project structures of similar scale, complexity and nature of work. Preference will be given to candidate with LTA experience.

• Strong technical understanding of civil and structural engineering design, construction methods, and sequencing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

Job Summary

You will lead architectural work progress and quality assurance, collaborating with project teams and consultants to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless execution. You will drive scheduling, coordination, and quality control to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of architectural work progress and quality to meet project standards and timelines
• Plan and coordinate schedules for calling quotations from sub-contractors and material suppliers to support procurement processes
• Review and verify architectural drawings and information to ensure alignment with actual site requirements and client or consultant amendments
• Produce additional sketches and drawings to clarify design details and resolve site issues
• Analyze architectural drawings alongside structural and M&E drawings to identify and resolve conflicts, collaborating with consultants to implement solutions
• Communicate variations from specifications or drawings to the Project Manager and Contracts Managers promptly
• Ensure proper sequencing and execution of various trades, verifying correct dimensions, alignment, levels, and set-out on site

• Coordinate timely delivery and storage planning of materials in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Organize and lead regular meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress and address issues impacting work schedules
• Assign duties to architectural supervisors and monitor their performance to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
• Represent the architectural team in consultant site meetings, technical meetings, and sub-contractor meetings to facilitate communication and decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture or a related field (e.g., Building Technology, Interior Design)
