Assistant Manager (Port Operations) - Up to $3,000 - $4,500 + Transport Allowance
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end port and warehouse operations, including vessel/barge discharging, warehousing, and material distribution. Responsible for planning and coordinating manpower and equipment deployment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Monitor stock levels, manage material handling and storage sequences, and oversee timely distribution to customer sites. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, complete operational documentation, and provide regular reports. Act as first point of contact for operational issues and emergencies on a 24/7 basis when required.
Qualifications:
(Preferred) Degree in Logistics Management, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related fields. Business degree holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Proven experience in logistics, site coordination, port operations or heavy machinery/marine environments is preferred..
Own transportation or valid Class 3 driver's license (company vehicle provided).
