Job Details

Position: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to identify their design and construction requirements
• Work with major vendors to establish major equipment requirements and design criteria
• Review/Develop design drawings and specifications in accordance with project requirements

Pre-requisites:

Responsibilities

◦ Responsible for the customization and performance/yield analysis of devices using advanced processes

◦ Responsible for parameter extraction and modeling for advanced processes

◦ Job tasks include but are not limited to device performance analysis, test key design, process simulation,

transistor-level circuit simulation, and yield data analysis

▌ Requirements

◦ Recent PhD graduates or those who graduated with a PhD from fields including

but not limited to Mathematics, Physics, Electronic Science and Technology, Microelectronics, Information

and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or Materials Science and

◦ Good foundational knowledge of semiconductor device physics, integrated circuit design, and

manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Prepare material requisition lists for job requirements.

• Design electrical switchboards, consoles and control panels accord to customer's requirements.

• Prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, final drawings, circuit calculations, instruction manuals

• Coordinate and discuss with clients/consultants on technical requirements.

• Feedback to sales on changes of technical requirements by clients for claims/costs and time.

• Check/follow-up on design and shop drawings with production departments.

• Develop and improve on design of electrical switchboards, consoles and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement analog/mixed-signal circuit solutions to optimize performance, verify simulations, and conduct testing
• Design high-performance, ultra-low voltage custom circuits under advanced processes, delivering integrable digital units or modules aligned with specific PPA requirements
• Select transistors, analyze layout effects, and simplify unit logic to enhance underlying circuit optimization
• Design and debug hardware for switch-mode power supplies, resolving technical issues during product development and mass production
• Design commonly used analog chips or IP, perform transistor-level circuit design and simulation, and plan and design layouts
• Extract timing library characterizations and design custom SRAM/DRAM/RRAM circuits
• Develop chip design processes and In-House EDA tools, track and optimize chip yield

• Design physical layouts for advanced process digital ASIC, AI, and CPU chips to meet performance and manufacturing requirements
• Execute layout design for analog and digital chips, ensuring precision and compliance with specifications
• Optimize power, performance, area, and cost (PPAC) under advanced semiconductor processes
• Perform full custom design tasks and investigate new technologies in advanced packaging to enhance chip capabilities
• Implement back-end physical design from gate-level netlist to GDSII, including placement and routing (PR), parasitic extraction (PV), and IR drop signoff
• Conduct static timing analysis (STA) and Spice simulations to verify design timing and electrical integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets signoff criteria and production readiness
