Job Description

• Ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with internal policies, authorization limits, delegation requirements, and departmental cost allocations
• Process payment applications and accruals through the verification of vendors’ invoices and supporting documents
• Manage income billings and accruals by reviewing and validating relevant contracts and agreements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accounting estimates, accruals, fair value accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis reports
• Review import and export trade documentation and determine the appropriate accounting treatment based on the nature of transactions
• Examine foreign currency forward contract applications, supporting documentation, and related accounting treatments
• Prepare and maintain monthly bank reconciliation reports accurately and timely
• Administer office and company vehicle lease matters and provide support for audit and tax schedules when required
• Participate in internal control and compliance projects, including trade transaction sampling activities
• Review documentation against J-SOX requirements and internal control checklists, and report findings to management
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and other accounting-related responsibilities as assigned
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP or other accounting/ERP systems will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Accounts Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

-         Assist manager in overseeing Accounts department functions, such as monthly and year end closing.
