LG CNS, a leading IT services and consulting firm within LG Group, is expanding its presence in Singapore and across APAC. We are seeking a highly skilled Korean–English Interpreter to support real-time communication in banking and technology transformation programs.
Role Summary
Provide accurate, real-time interpretation between Korean and English during client engagements, workshops, and technical discussions. This role is critical in enabling seamless collaboration between Korean engineering teams andinternational banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide live interpretation (Korean ↔ English) during meetings, workshops, and executive discussions
- Translate technical discussions related to banking systems, microservices, cloud, and data architecture
- Support documentation translation (presentations, reports, emails)
- Ensure clarity and accuracy in complex technical and business conversations
- Act as a communication bridge between Korean HQ teams and Singapore/APAC clients
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions
Required Skills& Experience
- Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in interpretation within IT, banking, or consulting environments
- Strong understanding of technology concepts (cloud, microservices, data, APIs)
- Familiarity with banking or financial services terminology
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or consulting programs
- Knowledge of core banking systems or digital banking platforms
- Prior experience working with Korean global companies
-Certification in interpretation/translation is a plus
