About the Role
We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level ML Engineer to join the Model Engineering team. This role is suited for someone who enjoys working hands-on with computer vision models and understands models as systems to be trained, evaluated, improved, and optimised. You will work across the model lifecycle, including dataset preparation, architecture development, model training, evaluation, performance analysis, and optimisation for real-world computer vision applications.

Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate computer vision models for classification, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and action recognition.
• Improve model performance through architecture enhancements, custom heads, backbone modifications, loss functions, and training strategy optimisation.
• Design experiments, conduct ablation studies, benchmark new techniques, and analyse model trade-offs.
• Investigate edge cases, debug failure cases, and improve model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.

About The Role

We value the importance of having a robust engineering team that would serve as a key pillar for sustained commercial success. To that end, we are looking for a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to join us on this journey. In this role, you will be part of our fast-paced, fast-growing team and will take ownership of your role from the get-go. You will be planning, performing and documenting the system verification, integration and validation activities of our robotic system. You will be testing the requirements of our surgical robot to ensure that the product functions as intended. • Solid understanding of standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 and ISO 14971 is an advantage.
• Proven experience in developing and executing design verification protocols, generating test reports within a New Product Development (NPD) environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and ability to interpret technical drawings is a plus.
