Job Description

• Plan, set up, and manage all IT and network infrastructure for new store openings, including computers, printers, mobile devices, CCTV systems, Wi-Fi, and telephone lines.
• Coordinate, supervise, and manage external vendors for IT and technical setup works.
• Set up and manage new user email accounts, including account creation, configuration, access rights assignment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage and maintain all IT server, systems, hardware, software, and networks across the group of companies.
• Ensure all outlets’ CCTV systems and IT equipment are fully operational at all times.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform daily maintenance of PCs, laptops, and server rooms, including system updates and checks. Monitor, manage, and maintain network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure IT security through proper data backups, antivirus management, system access control, and security best practices.
• Manage system configurations, user access rights, and conduct regular access reviews.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing IT policies, SOPs, and IT guidelines.
• Monitor, log, track, and resolve IT incidents, escalating issues when necessary and ensuring closure.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend IT equipment and solutions; obtain quotations and support procurement processes.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Perform ad-hoc IT duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration (retail / multi-outlet environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure setup including PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, CCTV systems, network cabling, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiar with Windows OS, basic server administration, email systems (e.g. Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace), and user access management
• Working knowledge of network troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics, and software issue resolution
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and coordination skills to support users across different outlets
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong sense of responsibility

Job Responsibilities:

·       Lead and manage the purchasing system for QC, including:

·       Ordering stationery and non-laboratory items from the Com-office.

·       Raising Purchase Requisitions (PRs)for laboratory consumables, chemicals and services.

·       Coordinating with vendors for quotations, delivery schedules, and invoicing. 

·       Receive incoming items and verify against Delivery Orders; perform stock-taking as required.

·       Act as the main point of contact between QC and the Warehouse.

·       Transfer reagents to the fridge/freezer from the interim warehouse when necessary.

·       Receiving of materials in Cisprosystem

·       Creation of static data for chemical/column in Cispro

·       Print and issue logbooks.

·       Reviewing of logbooks.

·       Handle document archival activities, including scanning and submission to QA.

·       Serve as back up for Training Coordinator — manage the addition and removal of job code(s).

·       Aliquoting of sample using pipette

·       Packing of raw materials, excipients and Packaging component for overseas shipment

·       Housekeeping and 5S in the laboratory

·       Any other work assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

·       Diploma in any field

Contract Duration: 12 months, subject to renewal based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 production support onsite / offsite.
• Investigate production issues, determine production defect severity and provide workaround to user if feasible to move business forward.
• Manage and respond to users on timely manner.
• Log incident ticket for production issues and user queries.
• Provide necessary information needed for further investigation to next level support (L3) to proceed with fix.
• Prioritize defects and plan for production release based on defect criticality or align with quarterly release.
• Follow up on defect and incident closure and meet incident closure KPI.
• Share production defect support learning with QA team and development team to improve application .quality and minimize future defects.
• Make sure system availability as per respective agreed SLA.
• Support EOD batch run.
• Perform annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for supported applications.
• Provide support to System Engineers on server level patches / upgrade as and when applicable.
• Ensure proper knowledge transfer (KT) from project / development team before enhancement release.
• Ensure application documentation is properly updated for each production release.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science/IT or Engineering.
• 10 years working experience in IT industry as Development or Production Support role of which minimum 5 years relevant experience in the banking/financial industry.
• Good and assertive communicator in speaking & writing.
• Good analytic and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and weekend / wee hours.
• Experience in L2 or L3 production support.

Good to have:

• Understanding of ITIL, SDLC, FI/Banking domain knowledge.
• Knowledge on enterprise tools, i.e., MQ, Connect Direct, Control M, Helix, Aldon, etc..
• Knowledge on monitoring, log analytics, automation tools, i.e. Geneos, Splunk, Ansible, Grafana, Elastic Search etc..

Essential technical skill:

• Strong proficiency of OS/400 system, RPG, COBOL language.
• Plus point – good experience in Silverlake banking system.
• Added advantage - Open System knowledge - Unix, Linux, Solaris, Shell Script, Oracle DB.
