The Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) is a large-scale waste management infrastructural project and an integral part of NEA’s long-term plan to meet Singapore’s future solid waste management needs.

What you will be working on

Reporting directly to the Senior Director (IWMF), your main responsibilities are as follows:

Civil & Structural Engineer (Construction Sector)

Salary: Up to S$5,000 basic + variable bonus
Work Location: Tagore Ln
Work Schedule: 6-day work week, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Annual Leave: 12 days

Job Summary

We are looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to assist in planning, supervising, and coordinating construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, clients, architects, consultants, and site personnel to ensure smooth execution of structural and architectural works.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to Project/Construction Manager and assist in planning and executing structural and architectural works.

• Supervise site activities and coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and RE/RTO.

• Manage and oversee direct workforce on-site.

• Coordinate inspections of civil and structural works.

• Monitor project schedules, progress, and ensure timely delivery.

• Handle contract administration and other site operational or project management matters.

• Manage all site matters related to Civil & Structural Engineering responsibilities.

Requirements

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the construction sector in Singapore.

  • Experience with HDB newbuild, BTO, D&B, landed, or condominium projects.

• Must have end-to-end experience handling civil and structural works in the above projects.
