About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and stays updated on the latest digital trends.
This role is suitable for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and excited to contribute in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment while helping to grow our brand's online presence.
Mission
To support Sleek’s online presence by creating engaging, relevant, and consistent content for entrepreneurs across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK. The Social Media Specialist will help plan, produce, and manage multi-platform content that strengthens Sleek’s brand, builds community engagement, and contributes to overall growth.
Outcomes
1. Content Strategy & Execution
- Manage social media strategy and execution across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars tied to product launches, campaigns, events, and seasonal moments across all markets.
- Ensure Sleek shows up consistently across platforms- right tone, right format, right timing.
- Produce high-quality posts, reels, stories, and infographics, working with designers or creating visuals yourself using tools like Canva or CapCut.
- Build and execute brand IP campaigns that establish a distinctive and recognisable Sleek identity on social media.
2. Social Media Management & Community
- Manage day-to-day activity across all platforms — publishing, monitoring, and timely engagement with the community.
- Respond to comments and DMs in a way that reflects Sleek's voice and builds genuine audience relationships.
- Identify trending topics, formats, and audio early and find the right Sleek angle to act on them.
- Maintain high platform standards: consistency, quality, and best-practice execution across every channel.
- Drive pipeline and revenue through social, not just awareness, by translating content into measurable business impact.
3. Research & Trend Intelligence
- Stay ahead of what is working organically, not just in Sleek's category but across adjacent spaces and emerging platforms.
- Run ongoing social listening: track competitor content, audience conversations, and platform-level trends.
- Identify shifts in algorithm behaviour, format preferences, and internet culture that create content opportunities for Sleek.
- Bring a point of view on the landscape to internal conversations, not just observations but implications and actions.
4. Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Build and own Sleek's social performance reporting, not just pulling numbers but defining which metrics matter for organic growth.
- Develop a clear, evidence-backed perspective on what is driving or hurting reach and engagement.
- Track platform behaviour across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels — algorithm shifts, format changes, and what is gaining traction and why.
- Use performance data to inform content decisions, not just document them.
- Report regularly to the team with insights that influence strategy, not just vanity metrics.
5. Brand Building & Campaigns
- Support brand differentiation through high-quality, insight-led campaigns that make Sleek stand out.
- Help Build the long-term strategy to make Sleek the most loved brand for entrepreneurs on social media.
- Support product launches, partnerships, and community events with social-first content — including behind-the-scenes, photography, and live coverage.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the product, sales, and customer success teams to amplify key moments.
To do this, you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a structurally adjacent field.
- Open to entry-level professionals with 0–2 years of experience, including individuals who demonstrated measurable impact in prior relevant internship roles.
- Proven ability to own a social media function independently, not just execute briefs. Track record in the professional management of business-facing (B2B or B2C) social media accounts across core platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or professional editing suites (Adobe Creative Cloud). Hands-on familiarity with generative AI content production frameworks.
- Deep platform fluency across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — you understand how each one works, not just how to post.
- Strong copywriting instincts — you write clearly, conversationally, and in a way that makes people stop scrolling.
- Comfortable producing content yourself: short-form video editing, basic design, content scheduling.
- Understanding of how organic social contributes to pipeline and revenue, not just brand metrics.

The interview process
The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.
Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role.
TA Screen
A 30-minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application, explore your career background, and understand your expectations for the role.
Technical Round
A ~60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager. They’ll discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail.
Soft Skills Assessment
A ~45 minute chat with a leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.
Offer + reference interviews
We’ll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.
