Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and support the fabrication of high-precision plastic injection tooling and molded components for manufacturing.
• Assist the Program team during new project quotations by providing accurate DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis to ensure tooling and product meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers on DFM and mold concept reviews, addressing technical requirements and concerns.
• Support the Tooling Department by conducting internal tooling design and DFM reviews prior to tool launch.
• Assist Production in molding process optimization, implementing manufacturing fixtures and automation to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Support the Quality Team in designing and fabricating test and measurement fixtures.
• Coordinate mold trials, troubleshoot tooling and molded parts, and implement engineering changes to ensure smooth production with required quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical and analytical skills with a keen interest in problem-solving.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge in engineering design, manufacturing processes, or tooling is an advantage.
• Proficient in 3D CAD or other engineering design software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting of production process and initiate process improvement activities.
• Work closely with Plant Manager to ensure smooth implementation of project(s) assigned.
• Co-ordinate with Plant Manager in the maintenance of respective plant equipment.
• Ensure smooth and safe operation in Plant operations.
• Training of operational staff.
• Investigate, identify and implement corrective actions to recurrent deviations from process norm.
• Initiate and recommend improvement to plant process.
• Plan and ensure proper implementation of plant maintenance activities.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors where necessary.
• Assist the Plant Manager to re-verify the integrity after the maintenance of equipment.
• Perform regular plant safety inspection.
• Execute Deputy Factory Manager's instruction in the implementation of a special project.
• Issue and approve the permit to work systems.
• Conduct training to operational staff as per the department's training program.
• Ensure that all risk assessments in the workplace are established, implemented, monitored, communicated and documented according to WSH (Risk Management) requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Process or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Process Manufacturing Industry
• Training will be provided for candidate with lesser experiences
