Job Responsibilities:

1. Providing Level 1 IT on-site or remote support to all end users in Eden Schools, Eden Centres and AAS HQ.
2. Providing day-to-day IT on-site support, troubleshooting desktop, laptop, mac book, iPad, printer, projector and with Microsoft 365 tools (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook,etc)
3. Provisioning new user accounts which include installing and configuring workstations, software, network printing & etc.
4. Updating documentation of IT assets, software license purchase and inventory records (as required)
5. Updating software license and hardware inventory (as required)
6. Liaising with vendors for tech support on laptops and desktops. (as required)
7. Supporting School events as and when required. E.g AV support, photographer. (as required)
8. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or School Management

Period: Between Jun to Dec 2026

Work days: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Internship allowance: $1,400 per month

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Development & Automation

•       Design, develop, and maintain in-house software applications to support business operations.

•       Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency in workflows and IT processes.

•       Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and system integrations.

Networking& Server Management

•       Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments.

•       Ensure security, reliability, and performance of IT systems.

•       Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and IT compliance.

Applied AI& Analytics

•       Develop data-driven insights by leveraging AI, machine learning, and analytics tools.

•       Implement predictive analytics and automation for system optimizations.

•       Work with data visualization tools to present key business metrics.

Simulations& System Optimization

•       Develop and maintain simulations for testing and training purposes.

•       Optimize system performance through real-world scenario modelling.

•       Utilize simulation tools and frameworks to enhance decision-making.

Requirements

·        Nitec or Higher Nitec in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related fields

·        Basic to intermediate coding skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, PHP, or similar

·        Familiarity with databases, APIs, spreadsheets, dashboards, or reporting tools

·        Interest in software development, automation, digital systems, AI tools, analytics, or simulations

Strong problem-solving mindset, good communication skills, and can-do attitude

Business Development & Sales Management

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across Data Centers, Marine, Aerospace, Food & Beverage, Commercial Buildings, and Industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, facility managers, end-users, and distributors.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Establish sales forecasts and business growth plans.

Operations & Project Management

• Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project schedules, procurement activities, inventory control, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Improve operational efficiency through process enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.

Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of approximately 5 staff members.
• Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work culture.
• Support staff development and succession planning.

Business & Financial Analysis

• Analyze sales performance, project profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare management reports, sales forecasts, budgets, and business performance reviews.
• Support management in strategic planning and business expansion initiatives.
• Monitor cash flow, project costing, and financial performance.

Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years or more of relevant experience in Engineering Sales, Business Development, Operations Management, or Project Management.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business growth.
• Experience in managing engineering projects and operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.

Industry Experience Preferred
