The Job:

The (Senior) Assistant Manager, Partnerships in the Global Impact Office builds and operates an integrated international partnerships platform that advances SGH’s Global Impact strategy by sourcing, shaping, and stewarding high-value collaborations with hospitals, academic medical centres, multilateral agencies (e.g. WHO, ASEAN), and ministry departments across Asia, fully aligned to SGH and SingHealth’s partnership governance and standards.

Working closely with SGH stakeholders, the incumbent ensures SGH’s international collaborations are clearly articulated and well-governed, so SGH’s international work delivers measurable value to the institution and impact for the populations we serve.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate and co-develop priority-country playbooks and country-specific strategies focusing on hospitals, AMCs, multilaterals, and ministry departments, including stakeholder maps, entry modalities, risks, SGH value propositions

• Shape proposals and negotiate partnership agreements with international partners, aligning with existing governance processes

• Coordinate due diligence with Clinical Divisions, Nursing, Allied Health, Finance, Legal, Research and Education offices

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to systematise study-visit and fellowship pathways and guidelines, co-develop alumni engagement strategy as well as convert high-potential academic or medical visitors or fellows into long-term collaborations

• Launch and track joint workplans and relationship plans with academic or medical partners, multilaterals, policy-level counterparts, as well as run partner-satisfaction checks and follow-ups

• Analyse and prepare quarterly dashboard to update outcomes, status and for decision making purpose

• Support ad-hoc projects/tasks under the Global Impact Office

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in public/global health, international relations, health administration or a related field

• Training in partnership development/negotiation or project management is desirable

• 4-8 years of experience in international partnerships, health systems collaborations within healthcare, academic medical centres, multilaterals, or public sector

Responsible for directing, coordinating and overseeing the overall operational activities of all departments within the hotel / resort and for ensuring that the various business units operate in line with the Group’s Mission Statement and meet their fiscal and qualitative objectives.

Main Areas of Accountability

1. Accountable to the SVP (Regional Operations and Group Specialist Services) for the operations and daily running of the the hotel/resort within the agreed guidelines and as amended from time to time.
2. Ensures compliance with the Group’s Mission Statement
3. Directs and maintains Sales and Marketing activities to achieve the planned performance levels
4. Constantly promotes and develops the hotel/resort’s business base.
5. Monitors actual and budgeted goals, develops and controls performance in service and product delivery, guest satisfaction and financial results.
6. Incorporates programs to promote proper Associates’ orientationand training and ensures the highest morale amongst the workforce
7. Ensures that proper employer / associates relations are maintained

Hotel and Resort Operations

1. Reviews operational reports on a regular basis, as the case may be (daily, weekly and at period-ends).
2. Reviews the property operations with the individual department heads to ensure that quality and service standards are maintained throughout the hotel/resort.
3. Reviews guest ratings and follows through with the individual department heads to correct problem areas.
4. Develops and monitors short and long term planning for the property.
5. Keeps abreast with innovations and business orientations in the luxury hospitality industry.
6. Monitors current sector trends and concepts and makes recommendations to his/her superiors for appropriate implementation at the hotel/resort.
7. Monitors the price-to-value ratio of the hotel/resort and introduces changes where and when necessary.
8. Monitors all guests’ correspondence and ensures that any problems/shortcomings are quickly identified, resolved and feedback given to the guest accordingly.
9. Actively and regularly interacts with guests, associates and management, individuals outside the hotel/resort, not limited to current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community.
10. Coordinates functions and activities with the SVP as appropriate.
11. Ensures that an up-to-date “Manager on Duty” manual is maintained to assist department heads with effective emergency procedures in the event of fires, injuries, death and to handle any other crisis situation that may arise at the property.

Administrative Responsibilities

1. Ensures that the hotel/resort complies, at all times, with all governmental laws and requirements.
2. Reviews the staffing levels and ensures that associates are rewarded and promoted, as appropriate.
3. Ensures that all associates’ training and development programmes are implemented and successfully accomplished.
4. Monitors the hotel/resort’s compensation programme.
5. Reviews hotel/resort managers’ performance at least once a year.
6. Ensures that all information pertaining the operations and running of the hotel/resort is disseminated to all departments in a timely manner.
7. With the aid of expert counsel, monitors all legal issues pertaining the hotel/resort.
8. Manages all community affairs.
9. Is responsible for the recruitment of all department heads and other key constituents of the hotel/resort.
10. Is responsible for labour hours and manpower levels, as dictated by business trends and local practices.

Budgeting and Financial Responsibilities

1. Consolidates and presents the Annual Business Plan in the approved corporate format, including comparison analysis, variances and explanations.
2. Develops, presents and monitors the property’s capital asset budget
3. Approves all purchases via purchase orders, cheque requests, direct bids, etc.
4. Approves all price increases for the hotel/resort
5. Analyses the daily operation of the hotel/resort to determine more productive and cost-effective ways of providing services at the established quality levels.
6. Monitors the marketing and merchandising programmes to achieve the desired financial goals, or to increase them.
7. Reviews account receivables on a regular basis to ensure timely collection.
8. Reviews the cash management process, including inventories and receivables.
9. Reviews the monthly financial results of the property, prepares supporting commentary and submits a report to the SVP and MD – Hotel Operations BTHR.

Sales and Marketing Responsibilities

1. Directs the development of a comprehensive and competitively aggressive marketing plan
2. Regularly monitors sales and marketing strategy, programmes and production.
3. Actively participates in setting the sales and marketing strategy.
4. Makes a special point to participate in sales and marketing activities (i.e trade shows, fam trips, etc.).
5. Participates in the negotiation of trading contracts.
6. Ultimately approves all sales contracts.
7. Is actively involved in monitoring and making suggestions for the improvement of the delivery system of the hotel/resort.
8. Oversees the preparation of regular marketing segmentation reports demonstrating actual performance against budget and plan.

1. Chairs daily morning briefings.
2. Chairs weekly management meetings.
3. Chairs weekly Executive Committee meetings/lunch.
4. Chairs quarterly departmental meetings with all line associates.
5. Performs other assignments as defined by the specific needs of the property or as directed by his/her superiors.
6. Supports the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Group through the implementation of policies and programs that contribute to environment-friendly practices in the Group’s hotels and resorts.
7. Contributes to due diligence efforts and risk management activities for existing and future projects.
8. Leads and is responsible for the implementation of the internal talent development program.

Job Description: Construction General Manager

The Construction General Manager oversees and manages all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, financial management, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight:Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
