2) Electrical & Instrumentation

• Overall vessel basic & detailed electrical engineering design development and electrical & instrumentation input to other disciplines
• Responsible for electrical & instrumentation engineering input for vessel design including power generation & distribution analysis, cable routing & arrangement, line diagram plan & input on electrical arrangement & design for the project to meet contractual requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Power/Marine/Naval Engineering or equivalent
• 2 years of experience (Those with more years of experience will be considered for higher or senior position)
• Offshore electrical Installation and instrumentation experience preferred
• Experience in marine equipment control and systems integration preferred
• Experience in testing and commissioning of switchboards, power management, transformer and other electrical equipment preferred
• Competency in automation design of control system (Hardware & Software) for VFD drive, PLC system, HMI system utility power system

The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring construction works are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and statutory requirements. The role involves supervising contractor activities, identifying discrepancies, monitoring progress, and supporting the project team in ensuring quality and timely execution of all works.

Job Scope:

• Monitor contractors' all type of daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/ irregularities to QPs/ Consultants/ Employer.
• To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• At least 3 Years of relevant working experience and a diploma in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.

• Assist in qualifying leads, gathering basic technical/project information, and scheduling meetings for senior staff.

• Ensure adherence to Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and relevant statutory requirements.
• Liaise with authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals.

5.      Team Leadership & Communication

• Lead and motivate project engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
• Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide clear reporting to senior management on project status, risks, and deliverables.

6.      Quality Assurance

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Address defects and warranty issues within stipulated timelines.

Provide administrative and financial support to the project team by managing petty cash, processing purchase orders, verifying invoices, preparing reports, and maintaining organized project documentation.
