• Sourcing and communicating with suppliers to secure purchases and aim of converting them into partnership suppliers
• Negotiate optimal purchasing terms and conditions
• Generate Purchase order, report and maintain purchasing master data in system
• Analyse and determine the most suitable deal from various suppliers
• Bring in new leads and identify opportunities from new regions
• Develop and maintain relationships with current/ potential suppliers
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting manager

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess either a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, and other relevant fields with minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experiences
• Well-equipped in Microsoft Excel Skills
• Good critical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Outspoken and good communication skills; able to communicate across departments
• Works well in fast-paced environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Negotiate and secure contracts with suppliers for favorable terms and prices.

2. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, resolving issues that arise.

3. Identify potential new suppliers and evaluate existing ones based on price, quality, and delivery reliability.

4. Develop and maintain a database of preferred suppliers and manage those relationships.

5. Manage the purchasing process from PR to PO issuance, support internal stakeholders on delivery and payment.

6. Analyze cost and quality of materials purchased to ensure value.

7. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, relevant laws, and regulations.

8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth operations.

9. Any other duties assigned by the department manager.

Project Introduction

Project Overview (NSC N111Project)
The North-South Corridor (NSC) N111 project is a major infrastructure development comprising approximately 2.76 km of dual 3-lane carriage way, including 1.28 km of tunnel works and 1.13 km of viaduct structures.

This project offers a unique opportunity to gain integrated experience across both tunnelling and elevated viaduct construction under Singapore LTA standards.

Following a recent extension of time, the project is expected to be completed by end-2029, providing candidates with a minimum of 3 years of stable project exposure.
