• Work closely with Operations, HR, and Facilities teams to align safety practices.
• Support store and operations managers in implementing Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor contractor and maintenance works in stores and ensure proper permit-to-work and public safety controls are implemented.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections and certifications.

Key Requirements

• WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or relevant qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in HSE / WSH roles, ideally in retail / logistics industries.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations compliance.
• Ability in engaging frontline supervisors and managers, team members and 3rd party vendors.
• Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across multiple sites locally.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in interacting with regulatory agencies such as MOM and SCDF.

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

• Handle export shipping duties and documentation for shipments to various countries
• Prepare invoices, packing lists, and other shipment documents

Job Description

• Oversee the availability of materials to ensure production needs are met in terms of timing, quantity, and quality.
• Carry out activities, including sharing forecasts and exception reports with suppliers and confirming delivery commitments.
• Track and expedite orders while addressing any material shortages to prevent disruptions to production.
• Handle and resolve operational matters such as quality issues, change requests, supplier returns, goods receipt discrepancies, and invoicing concerns.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data while complying with internal processes and procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain efficiency and reduce excess stock.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing and planning, ideally within electronics or mechanical assembly environments.
• Background in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems is an added advantage.
