Job Description

We are seeking one highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI), Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and the National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB).  

The selected Research Fellow will work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator (PI) and our research team on projects aimed at advancing sustainable bioproduction. Appointments will be initially made on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension. PhD holders with no experience are welcome to apply.

Ideal candidates will possess expertise in metabolic pathway engineering, microbial engineering and the development of cell factories for bioproduction. About ENgAGE: The Centre for Environment and Ageing Well (ENgAGE) is committed to advancing knowledge and practices to enhance environments that foster the physical, psychological, and social well-being of individuals across all age groups. The centre aims to coordinate and consolidate aging-related research, education, and resources within the NUS community, orchestrate capacity-building initiatives, and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders with a shared interest in meaningful enhancements to living environments for all.

Research Themes: The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to the intellectual development of ENgAGE’s research agenda across three interconnected themes: Ageing in Place in Asia, Design for Brain Health, and Climate Change and Ageing.

Reporting to the VP, Marcom / AM, Marcom, the key role of the Customer Service Officer is to:

• Handle systems relating to shopper management and assist in mall inspection
• Assist CMO in tenant relation matters (E.g. Facilitate tenant’s request and issuance of mall communication materials)
• Provide assistance and general information to shoppers at the Concierge Desk
• Handle the administrative and clerical work relating to the events and promotions at the mall
• Handle mall redemption programs such as vouchers, premiums, and parking
• Assist in customer reward programs including educating tenants on the voucher program
• Assist in collating tenants’ gift voucher reimbursement.
• Assist in events at the mall, especially weekends, whenever necessary. This includes facilitating logistics setup, photographing, etc.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Marketing or a related field
• At least 1 year of proven marketing communications experience in the retail / mall industry.
