Project Overview (NSC N111 Project)

The North-South Corridor (NSC) N111 project is a major infrastructure development comprising approximately 2.76 km of dual 3-lane carriageway, including 1.28 km of tunnel works and 1.13 km of viaduct structures.

This project offers a unique opportunity to gain integrated experience across both tunnelling and elevated viaduct construction under Singapore LTA standards.

Following a recent extension of time, the project is expected to be completed by end-2029, providing candidates with a minimum of 3 years of stable project exposure.

Job Scope

• Handle daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts

Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial operations including billings to customers, collections

from customers, payments to suppliers, compilation of staff claims, invoicing for intercompany – reimbursement and disbursement

• Assist in preparation of GST

• Support partial sets of accounts, including monthly and annual closing.

• Any other administrative and accounting ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in accountancy or equivalent

• Proficiency in MS Office and Sage AccPac accounting software

• At least 3 years of work experience in accounting

• Strong inter-personal communication skills

• Able to work effectively under pressure

• Proactive, hands-on, meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cost estimation and future tender exercise.
• Assist prepare and analyze the cost comparison together with Senior QS.
• Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Prepare and administer tender documents and doing costing summary and price comparison.
• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, includes contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.
• Be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines.
• Perform all other QS-related jobs.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in main construction companies
• Experience in HDB BTO contracts an advantage
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.

• To assist Construction Manager/Project Director lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.
• To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact of cost, overall schedule and quality.
• To review the equipments / materials requisitions.
• Manage correspondence & documentation with Client/Client' Representative and contractors.
• Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labourforce and the work of any subcontractors.
• Liaising with authorities, client's representatives, sub-contractors and consultants.
• Checking and ensuring all plans and work are as per specifications.
• Resolving any technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.
