Job Description & Requirements

· Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans

· Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial documents

· Supervise the project procurement process

Job Objectives

• Provide our Airlines, Authorities and MRO’s with the customized engineering & maintenance support and services to ensure the safe, reliable and cost effective operations
• Analysis of airlines’ operation data, maintenance process & organization, and development of adequate supports and services
• Prepare and organize fleet review meetings with APAC operators. Review fleet performance metrics, present technical and program status with support from in-service engineering team. Propose fleet operational reliability improvement to operators

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve fleet performance to allow safe, reliable, economical operations at highest customer satisfaction for each Airbus programs in Asia-Pacific

Job Requirements

• Preferably 5 years experience in Customer Services business and/or airline maintenance & engineering 
• Graduated in aeronautical studies or aircraft systems
• Capable of strongly defending Airbus Customer Services and customers' interests in front of third parties
• Knowledge of FAA/EASA Regulation (minimum JAR121, JAR145 and JAR66) is a plus
• Knowledge about airlines’ organization and operation
• Experience in technical service/support field is a plus
• Good knowledge of customer needs in terms of maintenance & engineering operational activities

The UAS Business Development Manager APAC will drive the commercial success of our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) portfolio within the APAC Region. The core mission of this role is to drive market leadership for Airbus Helicopters (AH) in the UAS sector by setting and exceeding goals, formulating the regional commercial strategy, and cultivating a strong network of customers and partners.

The UAS Business Development Manager is expected to promote our UAS portfolio as well as our Teaming capabilities (which represents AH´s core strategy) to our existing customers but also to identify new customer community as well as partners supporting us in presenting and demonstrating our UAS portfolio which differs a lot from helicopter demos. In particular for Teaming, the job holder has to be in a daily team approach with helicopter sales managers to identify and promote the Helicopters-Teaming solution amplifying the positive impact of the AH integrated solutions. Primary Responsibilities:

The jobholder is expected to lead the effort to achieve and exceed all established regional objectives for the UAS product line.

• OP Planning: Contribute to feed the Operational Planning (OP) process for both UAS and Crewed / Uncrewed Teaming (CuC-T) product lines.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Aviation, Engineering, Business Administration or related field 

• More than 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or unmanned systems industry and/or Several years of experience in drone operations ideally in a government agency or in the military.

• Strong understanding of the UAS/Drone market, technologies, and regulatory environment

• Strong leadership skills to work in a matrix organization and to onboard an operational team in a complex and dynamic, multi-cultural environment

• Proven ability to lead and manage projects effectively within a highly matrixed environment, spanning multiple functions and cross countries
