Accounts Receivable Executive – Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including customer invoicing, payment monitoring, and collection activities.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts.
• Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable collection reports on a regular basis.
• Issue and send monthly Statements of Account (SOA) to customers accurately and on schedule.
• Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies and payment issues in a timely manner.
• Provide administrative support and assist with general office administration duties as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions.
• Provide backup support for colleagues during periods of leave, medical leave (MC), or absence to ensure continuity of operations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superior or Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with good in focus on Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in data entry and typing, with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting & Finance Executive to manage the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and support the overall financial management of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage full or partial sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to maintain accurate financial data
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial forecasting to optimize financial planning
• Process staff claims and monitor company expenses to maintain budget control
• Prepare GST submissions and ensure compliance with IRAS regulations to meet statutory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities to facilitate audits and regulatory compliance
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems to ensure organized financial documentation
• Assist in payroll processing and CPF submissions to ensure accurate employee compensation and statutory compliance
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections to improve cash flow
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations to uphold governance standards
• Perform administrative and other finance-related duties as assigned to support the finance team’s operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds may be considered for junior roles)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, MYOB, or AutoCount
• Knowledge of Singapore GST, CPF, and statutory compliance

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and contribute to day-to-day finance operations while gaining hands-on experience in a growing organization. This role is suited for someone who is willing to take ownership of their work and contribute beyond routine tasks.

You will work closely with a team comprising both experienced professionals and junior staff, in an environment that values learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. While guidance is provided, interns are expected to be proactive learners rather than passive observers.

Key Responsibilities

• Core finance operations: Support day-to-day finance activities such as accounts payable and receivable, employee claims, and purchase requisitions, with increasing responsibility as you become familiar with our processes.
• Reporting and analysis: Prepare basic financial reports, perform reconciliations, and assist with variance analysis under guidance.
• System implementation support: Contribute to data checks and documentation as we roll out a new financial system – a chance to see how finance and technology intersect.

·       Process improvement: Contribute to documenting existing workflows and suggest practical improvements, including the use of digital or AI-assisted tools where appropriate.

• Cross-functional exposure: Based on interest and performance, there may be opportunities to observe or assist with areas such as treasury, budgeting, audit preparation, or finance-related support for our business units (e.g. transport consultancy, events).

Requirements

• Pursuing a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office

• Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required
