Why Join
You will have opportunities to discuss market colours and learn trading ideas from experienced traders and apply your strong equity and equity derivatives academic knowledge to build new products and trading strategies for the bank. As a junior trader / trainee, you will help the team on BAU tasks and automate them.
How You Succeed
You will start from understanding market regulation and compliance, the workflow on trading desk and daily risk hedging. With steep learning curve, you are expected to be able to perform well under pressure and managing the flow book independently in few years.
You are expected to have strong programming skills and familiar with latest technology trend to help the desk implement trading strategy.

What You Do
- Manage and execute trades, ensuring timely and efficient execution and trade booking.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to introduce new Equity Derivatives structured products for the Bank’s customers to meet their investment needs.
- To market-make equity derivatives products with competitive pricing and manage the resulting equity derivatives positions for the Bank
- Help senior traders to implement and improve their strategies and develop new equity and derivatives trading strategies for the desk.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Who You Are
- BS or Masters degree in Finance, Maths, Computer Science, Statistics or a relevant field
- Work experience in equities derivatives trading
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation
- Strong programming and computer skills including AI, Python, C#, VBA, Bloomberg, MS Office.
