What The Role Is
The Director (Infrastructure) within the AGD – Finance Transformation (FT) Directorate leads the Cumulus (Infra) Finance System (CFS) project. This role involves overseeing the commissioning and implementation of a new central finance system that will serve four infrastructure-intensive statutory boards.
Key Responsibilities
What you will be working on
- Lead and manage the CFS project team as the designated Business Owner, ensuring effective governance and delivery
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the successful delivery of the CFS project, ensuring alignment with the project objectives
- Oversee end-to-end project phases including the planning, tendering, implementation, and maintenance phases of the CFS project
- Work with GovTech to build and develop a team with ops-tech capabilities and in-source Application Maintenance Services within AGD/FT
- Engage senior stakeholders to align project outcomes with strategic, financial and operational priorities.
- Reconcile statutory boards’ needs and systems’ data capabilities to ensure systems could be fully leveraged to meet statutory boards’ needs.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new financial processes, systems, and practices
- Chair key committees and forums to monitor progress, resolve issues, and drive project decision-making
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional excellence
- Champion talent development and build a high-performing finance transformation team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive successful outcomes
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or related disciplines
- CA (Singapore) qualification is advantageous
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in leading large-scale finance transformation programmes, ideally within infrastructure or public sector domain.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, with a track record of building, guiding, and inspiring cross-functional teams.
