Plan and coordinate design and technical matters or projects Assist the marketing team in tender proposals and sales
Scrutinise projects’ contract documents
Coordinate with engineers from the Design Division on shop drawings production
Prepare method statements, calculations, technical submittals and attend to the site’s technical problems
Study and check the accuracy of shop drawings
Prepare budget/costings for projects
Liaise with clients’ representatives and engineers to ensure smooth progress of work on site
Negotiate with clients on contractual matters
Prepare monthly Site Activity Reports and Bi-weekly Project Progress Report
You will also be trained in the Headquarters’ Design Division and/or the Formwork Engineering Department, subject to the exigency of duties in the Projects & Operations Department
Ensure compliance with the Company’s IMS process and procedures
Ensure OSH risk assessments and EMS impact & aspect register are conducted and implemented in company operations
Any other duties to be assigned to you from time to time
Prerequisites
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
Outgoing personality and service-driven with a positive and "can-do" attitude
Proactive and self-motivated in problem-solving
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Strong time management and project management skills
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software
Working Environment
5.5-day work week with alternate half-day Saturdays
Staggered working hours
Office based
Due to current workload demands, the focus remains on documentation and paperwork. A posting to the project site may be considered if the need arises in the future
