Job Position: Production Engineering Assistant
Department: Operation
Primary Job Purpose:
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faulty production equipment.
- Track and manage production spare parts for the equipment.
- Participant in problem identification and brainstorming of resolution.
- Support engineers in their engineering evaluation sessions and equipment development.
- Support in new production line setup and equipment buy-off.
- Assist engineers in carrying out continuous improvement projects.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates without prior experience but willing to try out may apply.
- Must be comfortable to perform rotating shift (Day and Night shift) and perform overtime when needed
- Experience in SMT, wirebond, or automation (motion/vision control) will be an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9000/QS 9000 preferred
