Position Overview
The software engineer is responsible for developing, testing and delivering MSO internal software tools and automation scripts to defined operations requirement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, test and implement software tools and automation scripts
- Analyse and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
- Documenting functional and programming specifications accurately in projects
- Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability
- Involve in DevOps process to automate application deployments and post deployment/maintenance verification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
- Minimum 1 year of Application Development and Support experience
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
- Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues
- Understanding of the CI/CD practice
- Ability to work well with others in a team
- Experience in web technologies and backend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node.js, Typescript, React JS, REDUX, C#, ASP.NET, RESTful API, Git, GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Experience in MS SQL Database. Distributed DB e.g. CockroachDB a plus
