Implement, monitor & improvise site safety management system
Support management in safety related matters
Ensuring compliance to regulatory and corporate EHS policy and requirements by conducting regular inspection and internal audits
Pro-active to lead incident investigation, address the control measures and ensure that all incident reports are made in a timely manner
Oversee of all general activities with regards to HSE and Implementation of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) rules, regulations and procedures of the company
Ensure that relevant HSE documents, reports, communications and other requirements of HSE are kept properly in place
Ensure EHS is in compliance to ISO
Compile reports and presentation slide for management reporting
Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO & OSHAS management standards
Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on all WSH issues
Any related ad-hoc duties or assignment as instructed by the Management
Job Requirements
Diploma in a relevant field, such as WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH
Must be Registered WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and at least have 3 years of prior experience
Familiar with ISO 45001 and local WSH frameworks
Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health Act, Risk Management Regulations, and Code of Practices (CPs) issued by MOM/WSHC
Strong communication and training skills to drive a safety culture on site
Proficient in safety documentation and audits
Communication Skills: Effectively conveying safety protocols, guidelines, and risk assessments to employees, contractors, and management
Leadership and Influence: Promoting a safety culture, leading safety meetings, and motivating employees to adopt safe practices
Critical Thinking: Conducting thorough investigations into incidents and proposing preventive strategies
Adaptability: Staying updated with evolving safety regulations, technologies, and best practices
