Objective
- To learn about CDL’s Environmental, Social and Governance factors, data requirements and data gathering methodology leading to accurate Environment, Health and Safety reporting and Carbon accounting to support comprehensive disclosure towards maintaining the company’s global sustainability rankings and ratings.
- This internship will offer holistic exposure to working in corporate sustainability, especially with regards to data collation and analysis, reporting and disclosures, internal and external stakeholder engagement and training
Scope of Work
Research & Reporting
- Support The Green Building, Decarbonisation & Safety team in relevant research, data gathering, processing, analytics and writing, for the Integrated Sustainability Report.
- Support team with any required data verification and audits, gap analysis, data procurement/info/presentation slides
- Research for Emerging Green Building / Global Sustainability Trends (i.e. ISSB, GRI etc.)
Internal stakeholder outreach
- Support team with training programmes and outreach with Business Units
- Support team with international observances (i.e. World Water Day, Earth Hour, etc)
- External stakeholder outreach
- Support team or Business Units with Supply Chain engagement and training ((i.e. contractors)
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative and operational support for CDL’s ISO/EHS management system management among others.
Requirements
- Able to commit to an internship from January to May/June 2026.
- Diploma/university undergraduates from related field of studies with basic sustainability knowledge/interest are welcome to apply
- Skills in Microsoft office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint applications
- Comfortable with handling and processing of numerical data.
- Possess a good aptitude for learning skills and knowledge.
- Eager to take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
- Able to work well in a team and be an effective team player.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
