Responsibilities

Build and maintain Python backend applications to receive, process, and analyse IFC files.
Develop AI-powered development pipelines to implement automated checks on 3D building models.
Review, audit, test, and refactor AI-generated code to ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Deploy applications on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate regulatory requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Continuously improve application performance, maintainability, and deployment processes.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with AI-assisted or AI-powered software development workflows.
Familiarity with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Good understanding of DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab.
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts and IFC standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional product team.

Nice to Have

Knowledge or experience in computational geometry.
Experience working with BIM, IFC files, CAD, 3D models, or geometry-processing systems.
Experience developing systems that process large or complex 3D datasets.
