What The Role Is
You are responsible for fund control and accounting of unit fund. You will be based overseas for this position.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage fund control and accounting of unit fund including Main Imprest/Payflow Account
- Ensure proper planning, financial control and management over funds
- Ensure compliance with all existing financial procedures, instructions and directives
Challenge(s)
- Being firm in stand when dealing with senior officers on any deviation against financial guidelines
- Working independently in overseas environment and understanding cultural differences of host country
- Applying the SAF Finance procedures and practices diligently while ensuring defence relations with host country is not affected
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in fund control, accounting and financial management
- Ability to work independently in overseas environment with cultural sensitivity
- Firm decision-making skills when dealing with financial compliance matters
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to work in different cultural environments
