We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade Java applications that power mission-critical business platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building scalable, cloud-native solutions, driving technical excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications and microservices using modern software engineering best practices.
  
  

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
  
  

• Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  
  

• Build and optimize cloud-native applications, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems while supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments.
  
  

• Design and optimize database models, SQL queries, and data access layers to ensure application performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  
  

• Troubleshoot complex application issues, improve system performance and reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
  
  

General Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, ora related discipline.
  
  

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java software engineering, backend development, or enterprise application development.
  
  

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, distributed, or cloud-native applications within enterprise environments and Financial Services/Banking industries.
  
  

• Experience working in Agile software development teams and collaborating with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Srong hands-on expertise in Java (Java 11/17 or later), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and object-oriented design principles.
  
  

• Strong SQL capabilities, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, designing relational database models, schema design, performance tuning, and optimizing data access for enterprise applications.
  
  

• Experience designing and developing distributed systems with strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, automated testing, code optimization, and performance engineering.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering tools.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), automated testing frameworks, and application observability tools.
  
  

• Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.
  
  

• Experience contributing to open-source projects, technical communities, or engineering initiatives, with relevant cloud or Java certifications considered an advantage.
