What The Role Is

As a Manager (Learning and Well-being Programmes) in the Professional Development Branch of the Academy of Singapore Teachers (AST), you will play a meaningful role in shaping the professional growth and well-being of MOE officers. Working at the heart of AST's mission to nurture a thriving teaching profession, you will design and deliver programmes that build socio-emotional literacies and foster a culture of well-being across the MOE community.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Partner stakeholders to design and develop learning and well-being programmes, including resources that build socio-emotional literacies and strengthen staff well-being
  • Manage online platforms for professional development through content management and user experience optimisation to ensure that programmes and resources are accessible and effectively delivered
  • Collect, analyse, and report professional development data to generate insights that inform the design and continuous refinement of learning and well-being initiatives
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices for professional development delivery, while supporting related programmes such as teacher awards (including publicity, nominations and ceremonies) and library programmes (including user engagement and budget management)
  • Support cross-branch collaborative initiatives as required

What We Are Looking For

  • At least three years of working experience, preferably in areas related to professional development such as programme management
  • Experience or an interest in socio-emotional learning and professional well-being would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with good working knowledge of MS Excel, including proficiency in pivot tables and relevant statistical analysis features
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent programmes effectively within stipulated timelines
  • Dynamic individual who is proactive, resourceful and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders including senior management and external partners
