Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation
- Design, deploy, integrate and secure systems infrastructure including compute, storage, applications and virtualization platforms.
- Apply industry-standard security hardening practices and perform remediation or provide justification for scan results identified during Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Work closely with Project Managers and cross-domain teams to ensure project delivery aligns with timelines and quality standards.
Technical Leadership
- Lead implementation of complex infrastructure solutions and projects.
- Ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Design & Review
- Participate in technical design and review processes.
- Develop low-level technical designs and present solutions to customers.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather and clarify technical requirements.
Documentation
- Create and maintain project system documentation including build guide, configuration guides, knowledge transfer and operational procedures.
- Maintain and improve system documentation templates such as SOPs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in deploying, configuring and integrating systems infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience in a Systems Integrator (SI) or product vendor environment is preferred.
Technical Proficiency
- Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Servers: Dell EMC, HPE, Nutanix
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V
- Applications: Active Directory, Microsoft Clustering, SCVMM, Certificate Authority
- Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, Microsoft SCOM
- Patching Tools: WSUS, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite
- Backup Solutions: Veritas, Veeam, Dell EMC, Commvault
- Storage Systems: Dell EMC, HPE, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp
- Automation: Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Security: Experience applying CIS benchmarks and security hardening
- Networking Fundamentals: WAN/LAN, TCP/IP protocols
Certifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix, DELL EMC) are highly desirable.
