You will support the distribution channels via middle office support for UHNW products with the ultimate objective of contributing positively to Great Eastern HNW market leadership.
Responsible for Custodian Operations and Case Management for complex UHNW product (eg. Variable Universal Life), requiring enhanced process competency in designing and setting up the operational architecture.
You will be expected to work collaboratively across all functions, including but not limited to pricing, product, distribution channels, finance, investment, group operations and group risk, acting as a cross-functional bridge to convert cases.
Externally, you will be orchestrating and aligning with external custodians, asset managers, reinsurers, brokers and bankers, and manage the end-to end process of to successfully onboard customers in the UHNW business.
Additionally, you will be establishing SOPs for asset valuation, fees billing, and reporting to ensure assets are monitored for ongoing eligibility. You will be accountable for the timely reporting to stakeholders.
The incumbent will be required to participate in projects where required.
The incumbent will report to the Head of Business Enablement and Performance
Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in the insurance sector, specifically in the HNW/UHNW segments
- Middle Office or HNW operations experience in the end-to-end HNW business process (pre-sales to post-servicing) is preferred, distinct advantage for candidates with VUL custodian operations experience
- Self-motivated, committed and possess initiative and drive in the job
- Meticulous and able to work independently
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple channels
- Problem solving skills and business acumen
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint & Word)
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese language
