This role is ideal for an audio engineer passionate about live music recording and acoustic performances. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality sound for a Tinydesk-inspired music video session featuring a group of musicians in Singapore. The project will be recorded in a closed indoor space in Kallang, focusing on acoustic instruments such as cajon, keyboard, acoustic guitar, and shaker. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and the necessary recording equipment to ensure a professional result. Scheduling will be coordinated once all musicians are available.
Requirements
- Proven experience in live audio recording, especially for acoustic music sessions
- Ability to provide and operate professional-grade recording equipment suitable for small indoor venues
- Strong understanding of microphone placement and mixing for acoustic instruments and vocals
- Familiarity with post-production audio editing and mixing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with musicians and videographers
- Based in Singapore, with availability to travel to Kallang for the recording session
- Flexible schedule to accommodate final date confirmation
