What The Role Is
You are responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of all contract management activities for designated commands and departments in the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS), working with various stakeholders to advance industry support by incorporating operational needs into contracts.
What You Will Be Working On
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of vendors and service providers
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of contractual and operational risks
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of contract management professionals
- Lead the team in identifying critical capabilities and capacities that cannot be fulfilled organically, and develop contractual outcomes to address these gaps
Challenge(s) - Managing complex, large-scale, multi-party contracts with varying terms, conditions, and performance metrics across diverse sectors
- Managing conflicting priorities and expectations among internal departments, senior leadership, and external vendors
What We Are Looking For
- At least 6 years of experience in contract management related areas such as procurement, logistics, contract establishment, or contractor management
- Proficiency in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and dispute resolution
- Competency in financial analysis and budgeting
