Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience in data architecture, AI/NLP use case design, and enterprise analytics platforms. This role will bridge business, regulatory, and technical teams by translating complex requirements into scalable, AI-driven solutions, with a focus on NLP-powered analytics and enterprise data ecosystems.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in data lake and data warehouse architectures, unstructured data processing, and AI/NLP implementations, and is comfortable operating in regulated industries such as banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze business, regulatory, and compliance requirements and translate them into AI-enabled and scalable technical solutions
- Design and define enterprise data architectures supporting AI/NLP use cases across data lake and data warehouse platforms
- Convert business needs into NLP-driven analytical use cases, including:
- Text classification and categorization
- Named entity recognition
- Risk indicator identification
- Document and case summarization
- Establish data ingestion, curation, and governance strategies for both structured and unstructured data
- Define logical data layers and data models to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads
- Support effort estimation, project scoping, and delivery planning for AI and analytics initiatives
- Communicate complex technical and AI concepts clearly to business stakeholders and senior leadership
- Review and validate test strategies, functional test cases, and data validation frameworks
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
- Ensure adherence to data governance, risk, and compliance standards within AI solutions
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes through AI/NLP-driven automation and insights
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions to define solution scope
Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, AI systems, or data/analytics roles
- Strong experience in data architecture (Data Lake & Data Warehouse environments)
- Hands-on experience designing or supporting AI/NLP use cases, such as:
- Text classification
- Entity extraction
- Document summarization
- Risk or insight generation
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical and AI solutions
- Experience in project estimation, planning, and delivery coordination
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience reviewing test strategies and validation approaches for data and AI systems
- Solid understanding of enterprise data platforms and data lifecycle management
- Familiarity with unstructured data processing and large-scale data systems
- Experience working in regulated industries (banking, financial services, or similar) preferred
- Knowledge of risk, governance, and compliance frameworks in data and AI systems
- Exposure to AI/NLP tools or frameworks (e.g., LLMs, NLP pipelines, or analytics platforms) is an advantage
