[LTA-TRO] SNR/ EXECUTIVE AI/ML ENGINEER, INTELLIGENT TPT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a dynamic team driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies at LTA. You will leverage on cutting-edge technologies to develop prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to develop solution to improve the traffic and transport experience for Singapore commuters.
Your Role Will Encompass
- Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining applied AI solutions across Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
- Developing and optimising Machine Learning algorithms tailored to diverse use case requirements.
- Designing and implementing robust data pipelines to support AI applications at scale.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams — including data scientists, software developers, domain experts, and business stakeholders — to drive successful project outcomes.
- Engaging users regularly through an iterative development process to refine features and ensure applications meet operational needs.
- Evaluating and proposing emerging technologies, establishing best practices, and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team.
[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Cloud application development, with a focus on model quality, data quality, and building automated AI processes. Experience should span areas such as Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Conversational AI, Computer Vision, and Agentic AI.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, Agile software development methodologies, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with large-scale data pipeline management is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Cloud solution architecture, and the testing and deployment of Cloud-hosted solutions, will be advantageous.
- A self-motivated, independent contributor who is intellectually curious and enthusiastic about exploring new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and think critically.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively in cross-functional environments.
