What You Will Be Working On
Manage the Disciplinary of Public Accountants (PA)/Public Accounting Entities (PAE) Process
- Review and evaluate complaints, and recommend suitable courses of action
- Provide support to the Complaints/Disciplinary Committee (CC/DC)
- Present CC/DC findings and recommendations for decision-making
- Oversee the appointment of Complaints and Disciplinary Panel members and manage procurement of services related to the CC/DC
Analyse Data and Perform Environmental Scanning
- Conduct analysis of data/information submitted by the regulatees
- Scan and monitor cases of interest, through media alerts and other sources
Drive Policy and Process Review
- Lead the review to optimise or refine existing processes in order to improve operational efficiency or effectiveness, and recommend amendments to policies or legislation to support the updated procedures
Lead the preparation of submissions and regulatory notices
- Evaluate public accountants’ submission with respect to nominated hot reviewers (i.e. evaluate the suitability of nominated hot reviewers and is responsible for submission of recommended next steps)
- Perform compliance check
Review the application for consent to resign as auditor
- Review applications for premature resignation of auditors of public interest companies or their subsidiaries under Sections 205AB – 205AF of the Companies Act
Administer IT Systems
- Assume the role as System Product Owner for CCDC processes, ensuring system functionality and accurate, timely data recording

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Professional Qualification in Accountancy
- Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, organised and effective time management
- Demonstrates strong project management capabilities and proactively takes initiative

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
