About The Role
We are seeking a
Forward-Deployed Engineer to join a pioneering company that is transforming AI systems for scientific and engineering applications. This role involves working directly with customer organizations to translate complex engineering challenges into deployable systems, impacting the future of photonics and electronics design.
What You'll Be Doing
- Engage with customer teams to understand and translate engineering requirements into technical architectures.
- Develop high-impact software prototypes and AI-assisted workflows for photonic modeling and circuit optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to convert field learnings into scalable platform capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- MSc or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or solution engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern AI tools.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers to deliver technical solutions.
- A collaborative attitude and ability to act as a true partner to customers.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agentic AI solutions and modern frameworks like LangChain or Ray.
- Familiarity with EDA environments and hardware-software co-design.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.
