💼 Role: IT Software Developer
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop frontend interfaces, backend APIs, business logic, database schemas, and system integrations.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, performance tuning, deployment support, and technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and OWASP secure coding practices.
- Support application build, packaging, and deployment across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using AI-assisted diagnostic tools where applicable.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, ICT providers, and government agencies to deliver system enhancements and technology initiatives using Agile methodologies.
- Manage technology projects related to operational support, maintenance, and new enhancement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skill Sets
The proposed candidate should possess:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer or equivalent role, preferably in Agile environments.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET, and frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, or React.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, testing, and product delivery.
