What The Role Is
As a (Senior) Officer, Digital Product Management in the Communications and Engagement Group, you will be responsible for managing various digital platforms and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure their reliable operation, development, maintenance and budget management. You will also be responsible for overseeing procurement matters for web/ digital services.
What You Will Be Working On
- Oversee and manage various digital products, including microsites, websites, and the intranet
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. users, IT Department, and vendors) to ensure reliable operation, development, and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage budgets, timelines and procurement for digital initiatives/ projects
- Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and WOGAA to measure, analyse and report the performance of digital marketing campaigns, social media outreach and website traffic
- Maintain content on websites, as well as write custom code for microsites and web pages
What We Are Looking For
- Familiarity with common web/ mobile technologies, platform capabilities and/ or Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Good understanding of web programming languages such as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML5), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript
- Proficiency in web and social media analytics tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- An effective team player with good writing, communication and problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation, keyword marketing and advertising would be an advantage
- Prior experience in conducting user research, usability testing, interpreting data and deriving meaningful insights for product improvements would be an advantage
