What The Role Is
The Controller of Housing (COH) department regulates developers in the sale of uncompleted properties with the aim of protecting buyers who are buying off-plan. Developers are required to comply with the regulations and guidelines in the sale of the properties, e.g. use standard Sale and Purchase Agreement, comply with show unit rules.
What You Will Be Working On
As an Executive Property Market Analyst, you will be required to:-
- Review policies related to protecting buyers’ interests and enhancing market transparency
- Deploy AI tools to analyse data for sensemaking and inform policy decisions
- Process applications from developers, eg. licence applications, amendments to the standard Sale and Purchase Agreement
- Ensure licensed developers comply with regulations and guidelines
- Handle feedback from buyers and members of the public
- Meet with stakeholders to understand industry practices
Requirements
What we are looking for
- A good degree in real estate or related field
- About 3-5 years of working experience in the real estate or related sectors would be preferred. Prior knowledge of conveyancing and contract law would be advantage. However, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, and ability to analyse and express complex issues succinctly and logically
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team is a must
- Ability to work quickly and meet tight deadlines
- Innovative and resourceful
- Ability to handle customers well
