Investment Associate

Eight Capital Advisors Pte. Ltd.

EIGHT CAPITAL ADVISORS is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Associate to support the management of investment portfolios within our family office. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills, a keen understanding of financial markets, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Support the construction, monitoring, and optimization of investment portfolios to meet client objectives.
  • Assist in developing, executing, and reviewing investment strategies aligned with market conditions and risk tolerance.
  • Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to enhance returns and manage risks.

Investment Research & Analysis

  • Conduct financial modeling and company valuation to inform investment decisions.
  • Analyze market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities across asset classes.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive investment reports, presentations, and performance reviews for management and clients.

Operations & Compliance

  • Provide middle-office support including managing investment documentation and processing transactions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to safeguard investments.
  • Maintain accurate records and support operational efficiency across all investment activities.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor financial markets and deliver timely market updates to inform investment decisions.
  • Identify emerging investment opportunities and potential risks to support proactive portfolio management.
  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in investment management, private banking, wealth management, family offices, or related financial services.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
