Job Purpose:
The job purpose is to maintain and update the accounts of the Joint Management Body / Management Corporation in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the accounts reflect a true and fair view.
Key Accountabilities:
•To prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports for the Management Corporation/Joint Management Body.
•To prepare and execute timely payments to all creditors for SCM-managed developments.
•To review and ensure the accuracy of audited reports and ensure tax returns are submitted on time for SCM-managed developments.
•To monitor and ensure the bank balance, fixed deposits, and bank guarantees for SCM-managed developments are maintained as per JMB/MC requirements.
•To implement and execute appropriate financial policies, documentation controls and procedures effectively.
•To attend Annual General Meeting/ Extraordinary General Meeting / Joint Management Committee / Management Committee meetings as and when required.
•To plan and execute internal financial audits for SCM-managed developments.
•To provide guidance and training to Accounts Executives in the preparation of the accounts for SCM-managed developments.
Job Requirement:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•
Specialised in Financial Accounting
•
Total Work Experience: 4 to 6 years
•
Total Relevant Experience: 1 to 3 years in full sets of accounts in property management companies
•
Have the skill and knowledge to handle bank reconciliation and full sets of accounts of property management companies.
•
Must be able to present and explain the accounts to the management committee in a clear and concise manner.
•
Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with division staff and customers.
•
Conversant with all provisions of the Strata Management Act 2013.
•
Basic oral and/or written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
