GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Leveraged Finance Group structures and underwrites bank debt supporting acquisition, recapitalization and refinancing transactions for public/private companies, often involving financial sponsors. Your Team
The Global Business Services (GBS) - Assets Under Management (AUM) Team is responsible for managing overall corporate AUM Reporting functions and obligations at Invesco. AUM is the total assets managed by the firm globally.. The GBS Team works closely with other teams in Finance to compile necessary information and performing AUM Reporting. Reporting for AUM feeds directly into the monthly Invesco press release regarding the status of the Assets being managed by the company at the end of each month end close period.
Your Role
You will support external and internal management reporting of assets under management, including daily and monthly AUM reporting and related analyses
You Will Be Responsible For:
Collaborating with team members to identify, implement, and document process improvement/value-added opportunities with the goals of increasing efficiency and decreasing risk.
Facilitating AUM process reporting and loading of the monthly data sets by working with onshore and offshore teams with a focus on the IT side of the month end close process.
Assisting with implementation of finance technology solutions and act as liaison with technology teams for GBS AUM team. To assist with system upgrades and replacements leading to changes in the workflows.
Training others in GBS AUM department on data, systems, and processes when a change or new system has been implemented.
Acting as administrator for AUM process workflows (e.g. Alteryx, Excel formula mappings etc.)
Assisting with special projects and company initiatives (e.g. technology implementations, etc.)
Coordinatin with members of other Finance groups (e.g. Hyderabad Revenue, Hyderabad AUM, EMEA Revenue, APAC Revenue etc.), including personnel located at Invesco offices globally
The Experience You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
2 to 4+ years of professional experience. Large public accounting firm or large corporation experience strongly preferred.
Technology/systems savvy with experience in Excel, data visualization (e.g. Power BI or Tableau), ETL/data wrangling tools (e.g. Alteryx), Oracle, Hyperion, etc.
Strong desire to leverage existing core skillset to contribute to the GBS department
Strong communication (verbal and written), with appropriate professional judgement
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
Proven project management skills and comfortable supporting multiple concurrent projects
Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and be proficient in reviewing financial data.
High degree of adaptability to change is required.
Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus

Tracking and Communication
Manages pro-active collections activities to highlight customer balances due in the current period and implement procedures for customer communications to obtain assurances of payment within payment terms
Operations
Monitors accuracy of customer data in accounts receivable database to assist in collections activities
Assists by providing analytical thoughts as guidance to peers on complex problems
Reporting
Provides timely recommendations to management for customer accounts receivable balances in dispute
Oversees maintenance of customer credit and collections documentation to support audit and legal requirements
Follows up on reporting for Supervisor as required
