ICF’s Survey Research Science and Operations Portfolio is home to a talented community of survey researchers building robust solutions for government (Federal, State, and Local), university and commercial clients. In support of our client’s research goals, we provide high quality, reliable, innovative, and transparent survey research services.
We are the largest data collector of the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and support other health surveys at the national, state and community level. In addition, we support a wide range of federal, state, and non-governmental clients across a range of issues including transportation, finance, energy, environment, and childcare.
ICF is currently seeking a Project Manager to work in its Survey Research Science and Operations portfolio, specifically to support our BRFSS program that assists multiple state health departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing survey research activities such as survey instrument testing and process documentation.
Managing BRFSS team member workloads and task assignment,
Developing and preparing training materials, written reports, or other deliverables,
Supporting all web, mail, telephone, and other data collection activities,
Performing quality assurance checks on data, reports, and presentations,
Analyzing project performance daily,
Leading client and internal team meetings, developing meeting agendas, note taking, material preparation,
Processing outgoing and incoming study documents,
Working with external clients daily (including written and verbal communication),
Supporting proposal development activities as requested; and
Some light travel (< 10% annually).
Basic Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree in a social science research field (psychology, epidemiology, etc.), mathematics, statistics/biostatistics, data analytics, and/or market research.
7+ years of experience with some or all the following:
Experience with project management or project coordination in support of survey research or other federally funded programming.
Quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Experience managing a team, including task delegation, and providing oversight of deliverables.
Experience with Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) and associated survey software (e.g., Voxco).
Experience with health surveys (management and/or analysis).
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience administering surveys that utilize random digit dial (RDD) sample designs.
Experience administering or working with the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System.

ICF is growing, and we are hiring a Senior International Survey Manager to manage food security population-based surveys (PBS) around the world. This is a full-time—preferably hybrid—position based in Rockville, Maryland.
ICF manages the USAID-funded Surveys for Monitoring in Resilience and Food Security (SMRFS) project as part of Feed the Future, the U.S. Government’s flagship initiative to reduce global hunger and improve food security. The SMRFS Team collaborates with local survey implementing organizations to implement PBS in targeted geographical areas where the U.S. Government and its partners invest in agriculture, resilience, and nutrition. The SMRFS Team also works with USAID to update and expand Feed the Future’s publicly available population-based survey guidance materials (https://agrilinks.org/post/feed-future-zoi-survey-methods), conduct additional analyses, and investigate ways to reduce burden and collect data using alternative methods.

Job Purpose
The Procurement Department (PD) is responsible for leading all global procurement efforts to efficiently and effect able CMEDCC to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives. The PD will work with other Departments and Project Managers to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. This will include working with the internal stakeholders from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
The process starts with demand management (via Tendering Process) that then drives supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution (i.e., "tendering"), contract negotiation, delivery planning and monitoring, purchase execution, and then ongoing performance management and improvement. The following functions and documentary obligations are required to be performed in a timely, accurate manner to the full satisfaction and approval of the Managing Director.
