Job Summary:
As an M&E QUANTITY SURVEYOR, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of electrical construction projects. Your responsibilities encompass estimating, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it stays within budget while meeting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on project specifications.
- Analyze project requirements to determine accurate cost projections.
2. Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures for adherence to constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering options.
3. Quantity Takeoff:
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs of electrical materials, labor, and equipment for each project phase.
4. Tendering and Procurement:
- Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
5. Contract Management:
- Administer contracts, including reviewing contractor invoices, change orders, and payment applications.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

- Generate regular cost reports and financial status updates for project stakeholders.

Job description :
(1) Prepare As-built Dwg from Surveyor
(2) Process BQ item to claim, summary of quantity and progress photo
(3) Prepare Construction drawing and other QS related documentation
(4) Conduct Site Valuation with authority, consultant, engineer etc
(5) Prepare sub-contractor claims, Certificate of Payment and cross check qty is correct.
(6) Prepare variation order to claim and backcharge to sub-contractor.
(7) Prepare some quotation and work order for awarded to sub-con or supplier.
(8) Updated documentation e.g.Letter, quotation, backcharge work, revise dwg, RFI
(9) Measure and value the work done on site
(10) Prepare sub-con tender process to final account
(11) Other ad-hoc assignment as instructed by Superior
Experience : minimum 2-3 years experience in working for construction industry.

Job Description:
· To provide support to the management during the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/ assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and estimating all the required material, equipment, and manpower needs to be able to arrive at reliable cost estimates for bidding projects.
· To enquire, consult, and coordinate with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders and proposals and attend pre-tender meetings (if necessary).
· To study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view in order to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards and coordinate with the concerned person for the overall risk assessment and bid decision.

· To finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.
· To monitor deadlines and generate weekly tender status reports highlighting progress on concerned and projected timelines for tenders.
· To prepare and generate monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/ losses (indicating reasons) for review and verification of management.

Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey/Construction/Building or equivalent.
· At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required.
